About Rails & Granite

Rails & Granite is a free weekly newsletter for South Placer County, California: Roseville, Rocklin, Granite Bay, Lincoln and Loomis.

I'm Tineessa Nelson, and I live in Roseville. I started this because I wanted one friendly place to find out what's happening near home. Every Monday morning I send an email with the week's events, new openings and local business news, and this site keeps the calendar and directory in one place so you can check them any time.

Every event links to the organizer's own page, and every business listing is checked against the business's own website. If something is wrong, reply to any issue and I'll fix it.
